As we all know former President Donald Trump is currently being indicted in Fulton County Georgia for a multitude of reasons. The main one being the fact that him and 18 other colleagues tried to overturn the election results. The most interesting thing to come from this indictment though is how it listed 27 of the lies the form President stated about the election! Now you may be thinking, "That's a lot of lies!" And you are 100% right about that! Of course this should be no surprise coming from a politician, especially one with the character of Donald Trump. It's interesting to see how one by one, his false claims were shown to be false. It's important to remember that leaders often say things that aren't true or are misleading, but the number of lies in this case is really shocking. One thing that stood out to me was that there were unfounded claims of foreign meddling. It's strange that Trump claimed foreign meddling without giving any proof, which hurt public trust in the election process as a whole. To keep our political systems working, it's important for leaders to base their claims on facts that can be checked.

  2. Seeing these all listed out in one place makes my head actually spin. I'm just shocked that we don't have more published by the mainstream media on the different lies and inconsistencies from politicians on a daily basis, almost like a daily total. I think its so crucial for everyone in politics to be held to this type of accountability!
